Founded historically in September 2016 by two passionate students, and formerly known as SeedboxWS, SoKloud is now an individual company offering you different seedbox hosting and cloud storage packages.

A Seedbox is a shared space (on dedicated servers in the case of SoKloud) dedicated to downloading and sharing data. The most important advantage of this tool is that it can send and receive at high speeds.

The speeds available depend on the server on which the data is hosted and the package chosen by the customer. Data transfers can reach speeds of 10Gbps under the best conditions.

Downloading and sharing within seedboxes is much faster than any xDSL connection and some fibre connections. What's more, it's completely autonomous when it comes to downloading/sharing, so you don't need to leave your personal computer on continuously for your seedbox to work.

The principle of data recovery from the seedbox uses an FTP(S)/SFTP/HTTPS link, i.e. direct access between your computer and the contents of the seedbox. Your downloads are therefore not directly detectable, are carried out at the maximum speed of your Internet connection (within the limits of the server's available upload speed) and have no impact on your various sharing sites.

Our servers may be located in different countries depending on the offer. This information is specified in the details of each offer.

The information stored about you on our servers is :

- Your e-mail address
- Your password
- Your full contact details (surname, first name, address) (depending on whether you specified them when you placed your order or from your customer area)

All data is stored securely (encrypted).
Under no circumstances will we share your personal data with a third party without your prior consent.

Payments

To place an order on our site, you must :

- Choose your offer
- Follow the instructions, by logging in or creating your account (please note that a valid e-mail address is required)
- Choose the billing frequency for your offer and enter a promotional code if you have one.
- Choose whether or not you wish to enter your postal address (an invoice may be provided if you enter your postal address).
- Add a payment method
- Confirm your order

The length of the commitment depends on the plan you have chosen. For all plans with a commitment, the minimum duration will be specified at the time of ordering.

To change your plan, you need to make a request via the Support available from your customer area. Do not place a new order before contacting Support!

It is not possible to order several services at the same time. You must place separate orders.

We accept Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express®, and PayPal®. Our servers encrypt all information submitted to them, so you can be confident that your credit card information will be kept safe and secure.

When one of your services has expired and you have not activated automatic renewal, you can:

-Renew it within a maximum of 48 hours. So make sure you renew quickly if you don't want to lose any data.
- Do not renew your service. In this case, once the 48-hour period has elapsed, your service will be deleted. Your data will be permanently lost. You will have to place a new order.

When you place your order, we record your payment method. Once your order has been confirmed, if the product is immediately available in stock, your payment will be debited immediately. If the product is not in stock, your payment will be debited when it is put into service.

If you are experiencing technical difficulties with our website, please contact us on our Support portal.

Yes, the renewal of your service will be activated by default. Your default payment method will be used for subsequent direct debits. You can deactivate automatic renewal at any time (once the commitment period is over for the offers concerned).

Cancellation & Refund

Depending on the situation, you have the option of having your order refunded in part or in full. To make a refund request, you can contact the Support. Refer to the general terms and conditions of sale to find out more about deadlines and your rights of withdrawal.

Technical aspects

Get help for technical aspects

There are two methods to download your files to your devices.
The first: via the file explorer that you will find on the Console, in the Access section of the seedbox concerned.
You can then click on the file(s) you wish to download. The download is done over HTTPS.
The second method consists in downloading your files via FileZilla software, either in SFTP (Secure Shell File Transfer Protocol), or in FTPS(ES) (File Transfer Protocol Secure).

If you chose this option when you placed your order or if it is included in your plan, you can go to the Panel to install the Plex application.
If you did not subscribe to this option when you placed your order, you can contact the Support to request activation of this option (only for compatible plans).

The connection between your PC and your seedbox is completely secure (in HTTPS, FTPS or SFTP).
All content that travels between your PC and your seedbox is encrypted.

Private trackers are authorised for download and upload. Public trackers are authorised for download only. Upload on public trackers is currently blocked. However, if we find that this block has been circumvented, we reserve the right to stop the torrents causing problems, or even to remove your service without notice or refund.

Yes, video transcoding is possible. However, it is deactivated by default.
